Sixty percent of people in the UK currently have a skin condition or have previously had a skin condition. There are at least 100,000 new cases of skin cancer reported every year in the UK. 20% of all children have eczema. 70% of British people with skin conditions or scars say it affects their confidence. By supporting the British Skin Foundation (the only charity in the UK dedicated to funding vital research into all types of skin disease, including skin cancer) you will be helping to fund research that will help to improve the quality of life of skin disease sufferers.
