Juvenis works with children and young people who are most at risk of harm, exclusion, and unmet need. Our primary beneficiaries are young people aged 10–25, with a particular focus on those who are experiencing multiple and overlapping disadvantages. We support young people who are: At risk of or affected by school exclusion, persistent absence, or placement in alternative provision Experiencing trauma, grief, loss, or poor mental and emotional wellbeing Impacted by violence, exploitation, or criminal justice involvement, including gang affiliation Facing systemic inequality, racism, poverty, faith-based discrimination, or marginalisation Neurodivergent or living with unmet additional needs that are often misunderstood or unsupported From communities with limited access to early intervention and therapeutic support Juvenis also works with: Families and caregivers who need trauma-informed guidance and support to better meet the needs of their children Schools, youth services, and community organisations seeking to strengthen their safeguarding, inclusion, and early intervention approaches Professionals and systems who benefit from our research, learning, and practice insight to improve outcomes for young people We prioritise young people whose voices are least heard and whose needs are often responded to late or punitively. Our work is designed to reach those who fall through gaps in education, health, and justice systems, and to support them with dignity, consistency, and care.
