SS Robin Trust is a registered charity creating a national centre for photojournalism onboard the worlds oldest complete steamship. SS Robin was built in Bow Creek, London in 1890. Shes moored at West India Quay, Canary Wharf and listed on the Core Collection, the official register of Britains historic ship - shes as important as Belfast, Discovery and Cutty Stark. Two years of intensive restoration by volunteers and supporters means phase one of the restoration is complete: the cargo hold is now a unique photography gallery and interactive learning space, with exhibitions, seminars and events planned for professionals, the public and schools.
