Charity: Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action (UK)

Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action is the main umbrella organisation for the voluntary and community sector in Oxfordshire. We provide advice, information and training, act as advocates and representatives, and build partnerships. OCVA is accredited by Volunteering England as a volunteer bureau. Opportunities which range from befriending to fundraising. We welcome vistors to our centre to talk to a member of staff about their potential volunteering skills, whether they are looking to change direction in their career or want to give something back to society or just engage in enjoyable activity. If you want a detailed discussion, or assistance with contacting organisations, it would be advisable to make an appointment. We can also assist voluntary and community groups with issues related to volunteer management and hold many useful publications in our Resource Centre.
