SHIVA Charity is a UK charity founded in 1995, promoting education in Nepal and Sri Lanka with ongoing funding to schools, teacher training and educational resources. In Sri Lanka we built 28 nursery schools following the destruction caused by the Asian tsunami of December 26 2004. In Nepal we are rebuilding schools and temporary homes for those made homeless after the earthquake of April 25 2015. So far we have built 71 temporary homes, and are now buying a brick making machine to further help.
We are committed to helping the poor out of poverty through education.
