SESAW rescues, cares for and, whenever possible, re-homes any animal in need. Those that cannot be re-homed due to age or health problems, live out their natural lives at the Sanctuary or in foster homes. Wild animals are returned to the area where they were found or to a similar habitat if that is not possible. Responsible ownership is promoted including the often neglected issue of neutering. The Charity is sometimes called upon to work with housing associations, social services and other community based organisations.
