Duchenne UK is a lean, ambitious charity with a clear vision: to fund and accelerate treatments and find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). DMD is a devastating muscle wasting disease and is the most common genetic killer of children worldwide.
A personal development programme for 14-25 year olds, the Award involves over 225,000 young people in the UK. We work with all young people, including young offenders, special needs young people and the socially excluded, to build confidence, develop skills and reward individual achievement and progress.
