Social Welfare
We Support Offenders who have served less than a 12 months sentence and who plan to resettle in the Oxfordshire,Berkshire,Buckinghamshire area. We offer a through the gate collection service, transport and practical support on the day of their release. We provide a free community pack and clothing. We will match the ex-offender with a mentor who will meet with them once a week to offer advice and support as required, around education, employment, addiction, debt, relationships and accommodation. The support is there for as long as needed and the individual feels it is making a difference. Often a person will come out of prison with no family support, nowhere to live and very little money to survive, We listen, don't judge and we never give up. If you know someone who needs or support or if you are someone that would like to become a volunteer, please contact New Leaf for further information.
