The Old Fire Station is a centre for creativity in Oxford housing two organisations: the homelessness charity Crisis and the Old Fire Station (OFS). We share our building. OFS encourages people from all backgrounds to understand and shape the world in which we live through stories, creativity and the arts, and by connecting with others.
One World Media is a non-profit committed to excellence in media coverage of the wider world. We believe the best media highlights our common humanity, breaks down prejudices and enables new voices to be heard. One World Media’s mission is to support strong vibrant and independent media that empowers citizens, promotes justice and contributes to international development. We believe that the media can be a powerful force for good. It provides valuable information, increases cultural understanding and contributes to global fairness and justice. Our vision is of a world where every country has free and plural media providing accurate information and high-quality content.
OneKind exists to end cruelty to Scotland’s animals. We expose cruelty and persecution through our investigations and research, and end it for good by giving Scotland’s animals a voice.
ONSIDE is a local charity working across Worcestershire and Herefordshire to provide a wide range of services that aim to ensure fairness and equality, improve physical and mental health and wellbeing and give people a voice in decisions that affect them. ONSIDE work with people who may be vulnerable disadvantaged or simply finding life`s challenges difficult to help them live the best life possible. ONSIDE services include Advocacy, Social Prescribing, Lifestyle Advice, Wellbeing Coaching, Community Mental Health Transformation, Dementia Support and the PLUS service, which helps people who are experiencing loneliness or isolation. Working in partnership with other local voluntary sector organisations, statutory partners and health and social care professionals locally helps us to further reach and support communities who are at the heart of our work. Being part of an engaging community enables us to share personal relatedness and support perpetual growth of each other, ourselves and our environment.
