Children of the Dump provides education, family support and loving care to deprived children living in extreme poverty on the Payatas rubbish dump in Manila in the Philippines. Today we help care for up to about 300 children in different ways, some of whom have been neglected, abused or even abandoned. Since 1975 the supporters of Children of The Dump, along with our Filipino charity partner (ASCF), have been giving young lives the chance to escape the cycle of poverty through education.
Children United! helps a group of Sisters in India, to build and run schools, orphanages, woman's refuges, children's homes and crèches. All fundraising is by volunteers who pay their own expenses. There are no wages or overheads here in the U.K. or out in India. So we promise that EVERY PENNY given, goes to the children.
Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service flying babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care. We work with 10 NHS paediatric and neonatal retrieval teams across the UK, enabling them to bring their specialist equipment on board to safely transfer their patients from one hospital to another. If a child is too sick to fly then Children’s Air Ambulance can fly a specialist team directly to them. With our ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, we can minimise travel times and the risk for little patients. For more information visit childrensairambulance.org.uk Part of The Air Ambulance Service. Registered in England and Wales as a limited company by guarantee. Registered Company No. 4845905.
