Sight Research UK fund pioneering research to bring forward the day when sight loss and blindness are a thing of the past.

Sight Support West of England offers personalised support and services for people living with sight loss across Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. From one-to-one advice and technology support to social groups and exhibitions like Eye Can, we’re here to help people stay informed, connected and supported in ways that work for them.

SSIA was formed during the Covid-19 pandemic and has evolved since. Our initiative was driven by the compassion of local people to support others at a time of unprecedented challenges and uncertainty. We are a positive, supportive and sympathetic group of kind and giving local people. We offer 1-1 support, group sessions and activities to the vulnerable (18+) and offer our support in North Yorkshire; Skipton Town and surrounding villages, including Bradley, Cononley, Farnhill, Carleton, Cowling, Crosshills, Glusburn, Draughton, Embsay, Gargrave, Sutton and Thornton in Craven.
