The leading all Wales charity dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating unwanted greyhounds and lurchers. GRW has a Wales wide network of active volunteers and an international membership. GRW aims for the highest possible standards of care for our rescues. GRW is working with other major charities and the National Assembly for Wales to bring about legislative change in Wales to give greyhounds proper protection in law.
Greyhounds in Need CIO (GIN) is an English registered charity concerned with the plight of greyhounds, especially the Spanish-bred hunting greyhounds (galgos). We work with many shelters in Spain who carry out the primary rescue work and the homing groups and individuals in Europe who, in sympathy with our work, promote adoption in their own countries.
Groundswell supports a UK wide network of projects that are tackling poverty and homelessness. All the projects are run by or involve people with experience of poverty. Groundswell offers training, advice and information, produce publications, make grants, hold networking events and run a regional exchange programme.

Group B Streptococcus (GBS) is the UK's most common life-threatening infection in newborn babies. Without preventative medicine, GBS infects 700 babies a year - 75 die and 40 survivors suffer long-term problems. Yet most GBS infections are preventable by offering higher-risk women antibiotics in labour. Informing pregnant women will save lives.

The Guernsey Conservation Volunteers have been actively conserving the natural environment since 1996. We have work parties at 10am every Wednesday morning and alternate Saturday mornings throughout the year. These work parties are an opportunity to go outdoors to do hands-on conservation work in Guernsey’s natural environment while visiting new places, learning new skills and making new friends.
