We stand up for younger and future generations. We're non-party-political, funded by no-strings donations and vehemently independent. Young people today face precarious low-paid employment, sky-high housing costs, eye-watering student debt, and an inability to save for the future, unlike previous generations. We need to invest in younger generations and safeguard their futures. We conduct research and use the findings to call for a fairer deal for younger and future generations. With your help we can do much more. You can donate here: www.if.org.uk

Animals
International Animal Rescue is a small hands-on rescue organisation dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of suffering animals. IAR started working in India just five years ago, by introducing a sterilisation and vaccination programme to control the population and spread of disease amongst the huge stray dog population in Goa. We have treated over 50,000 animals in our veterinary clinic and rescue centre, where we also treat indigenous wildlife, including snakes, monkeys and the hundreds of 'sacred' cows that roam the streets and beaches. With the help of our supporters in the UK, visitors and travellers in India, we have managed to spread our work further south and have recently started a second rescue centre in Kerala. In December 2002, IAR helped complete the first sactuary for the long suffering 'dancing' bears in India near Agra. We rescued the first 6 bears on Christmas Eve and during 2003 we have rescued a total of 55 bears, including 6 cubs. These poor orphaned bears are now free to live out their days without constant pain and torture. Additional land has been donated in order to expand the sanctuary and with over 1000 bears still suffering on the streets, we need to raise the necessary funds to build additional quarantine areas and security walling before we can rescue more bears. Our goal is to rescue 200 bears in 2004, and continue our campaigning/fundraising until we can stamp out this cruel practice for good. In Malta, we treat birds injured, as a result, of the indiscriminate shooting of all migratory birds - from British songbirds to Ospreys. Our campaigning has helped change animal welfare laws and enforce them by supplying the Police with a high-speed patrol boat. In the UK we run a network of trained volunteers providing an emergency rescue service to treat and refloat stranded whales, dolphins and injured seals. We plan to build a desperately needed seal hospital in Scotland. We cannot continue this work without your support. Please consider becoming a regualr supporter or pledging a lasting legacy that will provide a sanctuary for bears, dogs, cats, seals and other animals in the future. Please pledge your support to The International Animal Rescue, by visiting our Website, and help save an animal's life today. Please make cheques payable to, 'International Animal Rescue' to the usual address, available on our Website.

The International Association for Human Values (IAHV) is a worldwide organisation with a mission to make the world a better place by fostering globally the values that unite us as a human community. IAHV has special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Our goal is to promote essential human values through education, communication and outreach programmes. We are a secular volunteer organisation operating in countries across the world, transcending race, religion, culture and politics. Our aim is to promote an awareness of the importance of human values, encourage their development, and to initiate and support projects in the UK and throughout the world that meet the fundamental objectives of the IAHV organisation in Human Values. If you have an idea for promoting human values and have the will and energy to follow it through, contact us. We can help you turn your ideas into a reality.
